Is this because 5 and 500 are functionally very similar, and 500 offers mostly improvements in the GUI? Whilst I understand they both use the ladder logic language, I don't know if 500 has a different addressing format from the images I've found to compare them.Īny help would be greatly appreciated, and sorry for sounding like the novice I am. Whilst I have found some material comparing 5, there is little comparison made between RSLogix 5 and 500 (that I have found so far).
